Mr. Koku Anyidoho is a former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was also an integral part of the Mills/Mahama Administration from 2009 to 2012.
In an interview with Okay FM which was highly monitored by THE PUNCH GHANA, Mr. Anyidoho made bold claims that several members of the NDC are just bluffing and no single individual can suspend him from the party as a result of the numerous contributions he has made to keep the party’s brand in shape.
He further reiterated that so far there is not an iota of evidence against him which signals foul play against his party and there is no committee in the party which has boldly come forward to suspend him.
The NDC has lost the last two General Elections and having tensions within their ranks does not bold well for the unity of the party.
Former President John Dramani Mahama is the petitioner who is trying to sway the Electoral Commissions decision with regard to the 2020 General Elections and no matter what happens, 2024 looks like it will be extremely difficult to win since important personalities such as Mr. Anyidoho is not in good terms with most of the executives of the organization.
In ending the interview, he further went on to say that “I work for this republic, I work for this nation and my membership and loyalty to the NDC has never been in doubt.”
