The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not done with the outcome of the petition but it seems most of the members are looking forward to the 2024 General Elections.
Speaking on ASEMPA FM based in Accra, Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs opined that the NDC needs a strong ticket to challenge the incumbent government’s Vice President or it would be difficult for their party to get back onto the seat of government.
He further added that, former Education Minister, Mr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) did tremendously well as an Education Minister with regards to how well he run the FREE Senior High School Program and that makes him a strong candidate should he join forces with Dr. Bawumia and lead the party in 2024.
As citizens of the country, it would be extremely exciting to be alive and well to see how 2024 would look like and the kind of results which would come out as well as how parties will embrace defeat.
Will NDC give former President Mahama a chance for the third time or will they look into their ranks and select another person for a fresh start.
Will we finally see someone who is not from Southern Ghana lead the NPP?
Only time will tell but with President Akuffo-Addo serving has last term, it would be great to see new faces as flag bearers and the ideas they have for mother Ghana.
