The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Edem Agbana has urged all students of various tertiary institutions in the country to keep their Identification Cards (Voter’s ID) safe for their will be a run-off.
The party’s deputy National youth organizer made the comment days after MPs of the ruling New Patriotic Party voted against the motion raised by Bawku Central MP to suspend fees of tertiary students.
The Bawku Central MP had earlier petitioned Speaker Alban Bagbin to request prior approval to move a motion for the suspension of the payment of admission fees for tertiary students in the 2020/21 academic year.
However the motion was voted against by the NPP MPs who labeled it ‘flawed and incompetent’. This seems not to go well with the NDC’s National Deputy Youth Organizer hence calling on all tertiary students to keep their IDs safe in order to vote for Mahama to come to their rescue as there will be run-off.
“So NPP MPs voted against motion seeking to suspend payments of school fees?”
“Dear tertiary student, by their actions, ye shall know… Keep your ID cards safe, Run-off will soon come…JM will come to our rescue”
