Saturday Night Live: Fans celebrate as Owen Wilson hosts last night’s SNL

Viewers of Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedy show were thrown into state of jubilation, after it emerged that their ‘favorite man’, Owen Wilson, was the one to host the SNL which was held Saturday, October 2, 2021 to signify the beginning of the shows’ 47th season.

The 52 years old native of Dallas, Owen Wilson has been absent from screen for quite a long time, making fans and his followers to miss him so much. He however re-emerge into the scene this year with a feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series, Loki, and now, SNL.

Owen Wilson hosted the last night show with Kacey Musgraves, and was seen delivery a controversial sketch in which he reads one-liners from the cartoon film script.

His fans, as well as SNL fans on social media erupted with joy and satisfaction as they couldn’t believe that Owen Wilson would be back to host SNL anytime soon to host the much anticipated SNL premier.

A fan on twitter who goes by the name @Xanactualbaby, says, probably out of emotions that: “I’m gonna marry Owen Wilson one day, promise.” 

Another fan who goes by the name Gemini also proposes that October 2 of every year should be declared and celebrated as Owen Wilson Day.

“This episode of snl with owen wilson is the funniest episode i’ve seen in a while,” Karen Mayorga wrote in a tweet sighted by The Punch Ghana.
