IMANI Africa’s Vice President Kofi Bentil has said those who died on the Accra-Kumasi highway were killed by corrupt leaders.
According to Mr. Bentil, money spent on judgement debt and those stolen in the country yearly are enough to dualise highways linking major cities in the country as this reduced the rate at which accidents occur on highways.
“Money stolen and wasted on judgment debts in Ghana each year can dualise Accra-Kumasi road. Those who died on that road were killed by corrupt leaders!” says Mr. Bentil in a Facebook post cited by thepunchghana.com.
His comment came after some sixteen persons were reportedly killed in a gory accident on the Accra-Kumasi stretch today Friday February 26,2021.
